"The text by Georg Trakl inspired me to bring floating and rotten sounds together, a composition that is my first purely vocal and an attempt to bring the energy inherent in the rigid text into musical movement - the liberating character and the beauty of ugliness should be preserved, as Trakl represents it. An external silence and inner turmoil - a final peace. "
