PICTURES AT AN INSTABITION

"Pictures at an Instabition is a setting of the top 10 Instagram images at that time. The quality of the pictures is measured by the number of Likes per picture on August 4, 2017, which is the day of death of the painter Viktor Hartmann. This day was also the occasion for the piece"Pictures at an Exhibition" by M. Mussorgski.
The 10 individual pieces are independent and each represents a single picture: The musical tone provision is generated from the color tones of the respective image, whereas motion, atmosphere and text are extracted from picture elements. Fastmoving - overwhelming - pithy ... like Instagram itself."
